When, my dear, will you come home?
You left me so long ago
While our boat was on its path
You disappeared in a flash
You told me we would reach the shore
You were content to drift some more
Until we reached the land I hoped
Yet you drifted from our boat
I tried, distraught, to throw a line
A reason to return you'd find
But like a dolphin you did swim
To board another boat with him
Now I steer this ship alone
And still I wonder when you'll come home.
